Description

For The Collector’s Room I reprinted all the linocuts made between 2007 and 2009. The result is a collection of prints depicting motives and subjects that are visually rendered in the same way; yet in their deeper meaning and representation belong to very different value systems. Hung ‘salon-style’, the viewer encountered an abstract ornament next to an exotic portrait, a collection of book covers next to a reclining nude, or a couple of lovers from an Indian temple next to a German film poster.
